Ars poetica – Latin for ‘the art of poetry,’ or more commonly, ‘a poem about poetry.’
I invite you to ‘Ars Poetica,’ an evening of poetry in motion. An occurrence of music, movement, art, and culture reflecting the world around them. A celebration of what it is to feel alive.
The night will begin with an abbreviated DiCE MaN ‘story time set,’ a live spoken-word poetry focused performance over a lattice of ambient textures and soundscapes. An opportunity to align your intentions before an evening of action.
Shortly thereafter, the tone will shift, the music will morph, and the party will ensue. I encourage you to roam about, have a dance, spark a conversation, share a silly little trinket, visit a vendor, snag a drink, or come meet me at my merch booth where we can chat about life, love, expression, poetry, The Revolution – whatever your heart desires. Contribute something to the mise en scène.
We’ll cap off the night with a full-throttle DiCE MaN set, hitting all corners of the musical spectrums and energetic fields. My hope is that you leave the affair invigorated with a newfound sense of gusto, purpose, and assurance. This is more than just a party, it’s a spiritual soirée.
